I think that unfortunately war is not avoidable, and is simply a part of human nature.
I have two reasons to support my opinion.

Firstly, there are differences in values and historical issues.
For example, the Russian invasion of Ukraine was a conflict between democracy and authoritarianism.
Also, in 2023, a military conflict occurred between Hamas and Israel as a continuation of the long-standing Palestinian issue.
It has become clear that even international organizations such as the United Nations and UNESCO cannot deter conflicts
when there are conflicting interests between major powers.

Secondly, there is the increase in the number of nuclear-weapon states.
Efforts have been made to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons through the NPT, but the number of nuclear-weapon states is actually increasing.
As Russia is using its potential influence of nuclear weapons in the invasion of Ukraine,
North Korea is also repeating missile launch tests, one of the purposes of which is to use them in diplomacy.

In conclusion, I am of the opinion that war is not avoidable as it is simply a part of human nature.
